Daryl Glenn Clarida

Daryl is a member of the firm's litigation section. He began his career at a large St. Louis law firm defending personal injury claims in the metro St. Louis area. In 1998 he became an equity partner in the Atlanta, GA office of a national law firm. In 2002 he formed his own firm with Eileen Crowley before merging their firm with Hall, Bloch, Garland & Meyer in 2011. Mr. Clarida has experience in both state and federal courts in a wide range of matters.

Daryl’s clients have included railroads, courier companies, medical device manufacturers, professional sports franchises, restaurants, natural gas distribution companies, and commercial real estate investment and management companies. Daryl has the reputation of being one of Georgia's top civil litigation attorneys, and was selected as a Georgia Super Lawyer in 2006 and 2008-2016. He was named to Georgia Trend Magazine's "Legal Elite" list in December 2007 in the practice area of personal injury, and again in the practice area of general litigation in December 2013. These selections were based on the assessment of his peers in the legal community. In 2020-2023, he was selected by “The Best Lawyers in America” to be recognized in the practice area of Railroad Law.

Daryl’s general litigation experience includes landlord-tenant disputes, premises liability claims, defamation actions, product liability actions, motor vehicle accidents, FELA litigation, grade crossing accidents, mass tort litigation, insurance coverage claims, and commercial contract claims.

Daryl has spoken at Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education seminars and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel meetings. He is a member of the Atlanta and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Illinois State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia and Illinois state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Daryl is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh and Seventh Circuits.

Daryl is involved in his community and serves on the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Board of Advisors.
